If your child is neurodivergent, meaning they are gifted, ADHD, Autistic, Dyslexic, Dysgraphic or any of the other multitudes of neurodivergence, changing their environment to one that is more flexible and accomodating may alleviate some of the difficulties of attending traditional schools.
The schools below are parent recommended by the planning committee and others as being accomodating to neurodivergent children. The founders or teachers are credentialed and knowledegable with educating neurodivergetn children. We urge you to contact them and figure out if they may be a fit for your child. If you know of any other microschool in our area that meet those qualifications, please reach out to us at MiddleGeorgiaSchoolChoiceFair@gmail.com to let us know and we can add them to our list.
